Hooligans

on BBC Two England

Foreign Fields. The concluding film in a three-part series on football hooliganism debunks the myth that this phenomenon is solely the preserve of English fans - revealing the shadowy world of troublemakers who have attached themselves to two of the world's most glamorous clubs, Lazio of Rome and Boca Juniors of Buenos Aires. In Argentina, five people died during the last season in football-related shootings, while in Italy, the far-right has exerted a growing influence over the terraces. Argentina's Diego Maradona talks about the hooligans of Boca, while West Ham's Paolo Di Canio discusses the fans of Lazio, the club he supported as a boy. Contains violence and strong language.
