1941, Terry Frost was among the thousands of Allied troops who were taken prisoner. However, tne four long years he spent in captivity were not wasted. Using the most improvised of materials and encouraged by his fellow prisoners, he discovered and developed the talent that, after the war, was to make him one of England s leading abstract artists.
