TRUE STORY

on Light Programme

The Arrow by Day
Written by TERRY JENNINGS based on a story told to Albert Rosenfeld by Lee Karsian with Errol MacKinnon
When Lee Karsian , radio operator aboard the cruiser Honolulu, went off duty down below to his cabin, he had no idea that a Japanese submarine had already selected his ship as its target. Helplessly trapped in a small dark compartment many feet below sea level in the disabled ship, his only communication with the other survivors was the ship's telephone.
