Today's programme has to do with the sea and boats: sailing boats made from match-boxes, a picturebook about fishing boats, and some songs that sailors used to sing. On Wednesday a brilliant bird from the jungle, a macaw, comes to visit the other Play School pets. On Thursday Rick makes a big picture of the sea and through the windows Pipaluk, the baby polar bear from London Zoo, has a look at his own swimming pool. Valerie does an experiment on Friday with toy sailing boats and Rick reads Maurice Sendak's book Where the Wild Things Are.
