MANNY WEISS was born in the East End of London in 1913, eight years after the Aliens Act was passed to impede the immigration of Jews to Britain. In adolescence he found himself under increasing pressure from the organised racism of the British Union of Fascists.
By what means did he defend himself and his family? How did he survive, as part of the East End Jewish community?
