On a Different Track
This is the success story of the railways of France. It began with the purchase of two locomotives from Stephenson, and continues today with the building of a new £800-million track between Paris and Lyon and 180 mph trains to run on it. Investment in improving the quality of their railways is paying off. Unlike any other country in Western Europe, France has increased its passengers every year over the last seven years. Should we invest money on the same scale? Should * we be on the same track? Narrator RAY MOORE
