Three Men and a Parson

on BBC Home Service Basic

View in Radio Times

Last of the series of discussions in which three men ask a parson some of the questions that are in many people's minds these days

If what has been said about God and man on preceding nights is true, what does it mean in simple, straightforward terms ? On this question a newcomer to the discussions will have some uncomfortable things to say. He represents the great number of people who feel that the Church is always taking refuge in long explanations from the simple demands of Jesus.

These four discussions will be followed up by two sermons to be broadcast tomorrow, March 2, by Canon F. A. Cockin , the 'parson', who will conduct both the morning and the evening services in the Home programme.
