For the Schools: Science and Life: The Evolution of Living Things: The Age of Man

on BBC Television

by Professor W. S. Bullough.

The development of modern primates is largely the story of brain, eye, and hand all evolving side by side in the course of millions of years in the tree-tops. Fossil remains of early men show many ape-like characteristics. These early men belonged to several species but present-day men all belong to the tingle species Homo Sapiens.
