Hans Hass and a team of scientists are on board the marine research vessel Xarifa in the Indian Ocean to explore underwater life. In a deep valley beneath a lonely rock they find an enchanting coral forest. Here hundreds of fish meet, make love, lay their eggs, and protect themselves against their enemies.
