Sunday Cricket: The John Player League: Worcestershire v Hampshire

on BBC Two England

Direct from Worcester

Worcester's famous ground, overlooked by the magnificent cathedral, provides the setting for today's match between two counties who have both made a good start in the League.
Richard Gilliat leads a Hampshire side which includes the West Indian Roya Marshall and the brilliant South African Barry Richards.
Worcestershire finished sixth in this competition last year and their well-balanced side which includes Basil D'Oliveira could well improve their position in 1971.
