Douglas Moodie auditioned Buddy Logan , who plays Bing Crosby 's part in this radio version of the popular film. Moodie wanted the perfect Crosby voice, and in fifteen seconds knew he had found it. Buddy has studied Crosby for years, claims that there is not a manner or inflection that he has not got ' pat.' He is a nephew of Ella Logan , famous for her swing settings of Scottish and other songs.
