The Day That Changed My Life: Ironing in the Dark

on BBC Two England

A series in which people relate the events that over 24 hours permanently altered the course of their lives.

When her son was knee-capped by the IRA, Nancy Gracey went to war against terrorism. Working from home, she set up an organisation to publicise the vicious punishment attacks carried out by loyalist and republican paramilitaries on their own communities.
