Recovering from an illness after the war, ex-sailor
Jim Fletcher finds himself on a charge of treason. He is accused of selling out to the Japanese in a POW camp. Convinced of his innocence he contacts another ex-prisoner. But is this the right move?
Inspired by a true story, this tightly-made film is a rarity of special interest for the script by Carl Foreman , direction by Richard Fleischer and a leading role played by Richard Quine - all of whom later became leading writer-directors in Hollywood.
