In this sentimental musical comedy, Bing plays a country doctor at odds with Dr McRory, who has been looking after the health of a small New England community for 35 years. But gradually the new arrival wins the hearts and' respect of the local community.' Crosby and Barry Fitzgerald 'are teamed in a film reminiscent' of, their great earlier success Going My Way. The music is by Johnny Burke and James Van Heusen and includes ' Country style ', pne of the crooner's greatest successes.
