At the age of 8 Robin Cousins took his first tentative steps on ice at the Westover rink, Bourne-mouth. In tonight's programme he returns there after 16 years to star in the 'Robin Cousins Ice Gala ' where, working for the first time with choreographer BILL DRYSDALE , as he prepares new ice baillea, set to variations on Saint-Saens's The Swan With solo cello played by Julian Lloyd Webber
