Sikhs in Britain

on BBC Two England

A look at the practice and content of the Sikh religion in Leeds. It concentrates on Sunday worship and a marriage which happens (as is quite usual) during the course of the worship. The film shows some of the problems of being a Sikh in Britain, how some of the younger generation are coping with conflicting cultural pressures and looks at the life in the community and looks at how the life of the community is centred around the temple.
