' Should the Banks be Nationalised ? 'A Discussion between the Honble.

YET ANOTHER SERIES to end this evening has been one of the longest and most varied, having commenced as long ago as October 4. Subjects that have been reviewed have been the Civil Service (four broadcasts), Local Government (four). Voluntary Social Service (four), the Navy (four), the Churches in National Life (four), and three broadcasts on the City of London have already been given, the fourth and last being the discussion due to take place this evening.
Mr. G. D. H. Cole , Reader, in Economics in the University of Oxford, will argue that banks should be nationalised, and the Hon. R. H. Brand , Managing Director of Lazard Brothers and Co., and Director of Lloyd's Bank, will argue that they should remain as they are.
