An old friend of Lone Ranger and Tonto has disappeared from his ranch-house. A gang of bandits arrive with forged documents which seem to prove the ranch has been sold to them, and the sheriff is tricked into giving the rancher's daughter legal notice to quit. Lone Ranger and Tonto have twenty-four hours to defeat the outlaws' plans - but how can they find the missing man?
