The Manila 1,000 is the ultimate in motor races. Dreamed up by promoter Bo Cochran, the spectacular three-day event attracts 55 cars and bikes. Among the entrants is 'Walkaway' Madden and his ex-partner Doc Pyle, now a bitter rival. Competition in the gruelling race against time and the elements is doubly fierce as the promoters reward any racer who even manages to finish.
