3/3. Frontline Pakistan. The Islamic state has arrested more al-Qaeda suspects than any other power as they battle extremists on the border with Afghanistan. For the first time, intelligence agents and military leaders can reveal details of the captures - the head of the country's counter-terrorism centre has cross-examined a man described as the third most important al-Qaeda figure. However, it's alleged intelligence agencies helped set up the Taliban and are reluctant to bring Bin Laden to book. Interviewed by Peter Taylor , Pakistan's President Musharraf defends his country's record.
