This classic film of the forties features Gene Kelly 's famous ' Shadow Dance' in which he dances with himself in a score of brilliant musical numbers by Jerome Kern. Rusty Parker is a happy-go-lucky chorus girl who by chance becomes a fabulously successful model. While she revels in her new life. Rusty fails to notice that it is taking her further and further from the man she loves.
