Judy is consumed by a burning ambition to be a serious dancer regardless of the personal sacrifices involved. Bubbles regards dancing simply as the first step towards a glamorous lifestyle and a rich husband. Trouble ensues when both, in their very different ways, fall in love with the same playboy.
