Countrymen: The Old Man of Coniston

Allan Mason, a retired quarryman living near Coniston, has been a poacher all his life. Even when he was a special constable he managed to uphold the law while indulging in a little 'honest' poaching. Now, aged 71, he says: 'I am very glad I am going downhill not up it'.
