The Shaftesbury Society cares for physically handicapped people of all ages. It maintains residential schools where education is combined with remedial treatment; there are clubs for adults, and holiday homes for disabled men, women, and children who cannot afford a holiday.
Tonight's Appeal includes a film specially made at the Victoria Home, Bournemouth, one of the Shaftesbury Society's Schools for young children.
