' The Small Pig Keepers' Council' by John Green and Cedric Drewe , M.P., Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture
John Green , who has put pig-keeping on the air and who himself is a breeder of Gloucester Old Spots, is to bring to the microphone the Chairman of the Small Pig Keepers' Council which was formed last November with Green as Vice-Chairman, with the slogan ' Save waste and make food ', and the following message from the Minister of Agriculture: ' I ask you if you can, keep a pig. If you already have a pig, then perhaps you can keep two.'
Cedric Drewe , M.P. and Parliamentary Private Secretary to Sir Reginald Dorman-Smith , will talk about the plans that have been made to encourage pig-keeping by householders and others.
