Suzi Quatro's Heroes of Rock 'n' Roll

on BBC Radio 2

5/6. Radio 2's resident rocker Suzi Quatro continues her look at six established greats of rock 'n' roll and pop with Arizona-born guitarist Duane Eddy, whose low, twangy sound - recorded with echo and tape delay - remains a defining sound of the late 50s and early 60s. Suzi talks to the guitar guru, who illustrates the technique that resulted in such instrumental classics as Rebel-Rouser, "Yep!", Forty Miles of Bad Road, Because They're Young and Peter Gunn.
