Talking Landscapes

on BBC Two England

What is seemingly one of Britain's last truly wild landscapes beckons as presenter Aubrey Manning travels north to the Cairngorms in the Scottish Highlands. In search of an ancient Caledonian forest that once covered the region, he unearths a lost landscape and a way of life that has now disappeared, while a spot of deer-stalking leads him to discover the Victorian secret at the heart of the area.
