Irish Journeys: The Boys of Summer

on BBC Two England

Fergal Keane travels north of the border to conclude his study of Ireland's troubled history.

In the summer of 1968, a group of schoolboy footballers from Belfast's Ardoyne area posed for a team photograph unaware that, within a year, their neighbourhood would become a focal point of the Troubles.
This programme tells the story of what happened to the footballers and how a small community worked for peace.
