A film series based on stories from the American past.
Starring Lee Marvin
The Harvest of 1907 was a good one in California's San Joaquin Valley and the farmers expected a good profit. But when the crop was delivered to the railroad they found that the profit was absorbed by an increase in freight rates. Determined not to be cheated they decided to deliver the crop themselves to the San Francisco market 175 miles away. Six wagons faced not only the usual bad roads and treacherous weather but the opposition of the railroad.
