Glencraig Curative Schools, Craigavad, Co. Down, care for various types of handicapped children and young people. The work has a specifically religious context, and the great festivals are times of joy. So the Lighting of the Advent Candle is a happy experience; it is also a test of the pupils' progress, a 'Candle of Hope'.
