The Accidental Angler

on BBC Two England

3/4. Brazil. Charles Rangeley-Wilson ventures into the Amazonian rainforest in search of the mighty peacock bass, a formidable freshwater fish that is known to smash fly rods and challenge the hardiest of anglers. After storms of biblical proportions force him to reassess his plans, he is taken to meet the Coboclos people, who are said to know where the elusive creatures live. Can he succeed in catching one that will help to feed the village?
