The last of four films featuring some of the pioneers of the folk song revival.
Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger
The post-war revival of folk music owes much of its political and social awareness to the work of this talented and uncompromising couple. Ewan's repertoire comes largely from his Scottish roots while Peggy sings the music of her native North America. In the final programme they look at traditional music in the modern world. Filmed at the Singer's Club, London.
