British television debut of the Calcutta Drum Orchestra (CDO), a unique concept in the presentation of Indian percussion. Founded ten years ago by tabla maestro Pandit Shankar Ghosh , the CDO presents compositions drawing upon influences which range from classical to folk and east to west.
