Behind the modest exterior of Mr Holland lurks a criminal mind of awe-inspiring ambition. Mr Holland's job is supervising bullion deliveries at the bank and his immediate target is one million pounds in gold. When he meets Pendlebury, Mr Holland's plans begin to take shape.

This Ealing comedy provided Guinness with one of his great comedy roles and is firmly established as one of the classic British films.
