The battle to shut Britain's dolphinaria has never been so intense. This year for the first time a pressure group has returned three captive dolphins to the wild. Only two dolphinaria remain. The critics maintain they teach people that animal abuse is normal: the defence is that captive dolphins encourage concern and care. Who is right? Is it time for the show to close?
