The Glass Animal Man Bill Axcell can slice a windowpane. melt it in a flame, and twirl it into a dragon, or a daffodil or a carousel. As a child he was hopelessly clumsy; in the navy he was constantly seasick, and he still wreaks havoc every time he uses a hammer.
