Opera Month ends with a performance of PUCCINI'S opera recorded at La Scala, Milan. starring
Set in Paris in the 1820s, Puccini's opera is based on short stories about Bohemian life in the Latin Quarter written by the journalist HENRI MURGER. To a libretto by GIUSEPPE GIACOSA and LUIGI ILLICA, it vividly paints pictures of the life of four impoverished students and centres on Rodolfo's love for the seamstress Miml.
