New York Composers' Orchestra

Formed in 1986 by composers Wayne Horvitz and Robin Holcomb , this orchestra exists to provide a regular performing ensemble for jazz writers to experiment with. For the orchestra's Contemporary Music Network tour earlier this year, the musicians were mainly British. Chris Parker introduces the concert the orchestra gave in the Queen Elizabeth Hall , London.
