Two IRA bombs in a crowded Warrington shopping centre on 20 March this year killed 3-year-old Jonathan Ball immediately; 12-year-old Tim Parry died five days later. Colin and Wendy Parry, the parents of murdered Tim, travelled to Northern Ireland, to the Republic and to Boston, USA, to find out more about why their son was killed and to understand the conflicting beliefs that sustain the troubles. "I have got a son who isn't going to live," said Colin Parry the day after the bombing, "a good-looking boy pulled apart for nothing. And for what?" Steve Bradshaw reports.
