Fritz Lang in America: Beyond a Reasonable Doubt

Concluding a season of Hollywood films made by the German director. Starring and When newspaper proprietor Austin Spencer plans an elaborate hoax to expose the fallacy of circumstantial evidence, he persuades his future son-in-law to implicate himself in an unsolved murder by planting bogus clues. But things go terrifyingly wrong as the young man finds himself seemingly guilty 'beyond doubt'.
This ingenious thriller is notable for its tense atmosphere and its clever plot twists.
