A series of thirteen BBC television films telling the story of air power during the years 1935-1946. and how it brought about the defeat of the Axis Powers in the greatest conflict history has known.

This film shows the role of Allied Air Forces in combined operations in Europe and North Africa from early 1942 to spring 1943.
