Iceland is half the size of Great Britain but has a population of only 170,000. It is a country of great beauty, of waterfalls, hot springs, and huge glaciers. The programme deals with the summer occupations of the farmers and fishermen of this thinly peopled, volcanic land.
Introduced by Ragnar Gudmundsson.
