Sunday Grandstand

on BBC Two England

Introduced by Steve Rider from Nairn.
Golf Comprehensive live coverage from Nairn in Highland of both the foursome and singles matches on the final day of the biennial Walker Cup. The singles matches will decide the destination of the cup as the best amateur players from Great Britain and Ireland, which include British champion Graeme Storm , hope that home advantage can hel p them to reclaim the trophy that was lost to the Americans in 1997. Commentary is provided by Peter Alliss , Alex Hay ,
Howard Clark , Mike Hughesdon , Beverly Lewis and Dougie Donnelly.
Racing From France, coverage of the trial races for next month's prestigious Prix de I'Arc de Triomphe. The Prix Niel
(3.45), run over the same distance of a mile and a half, is seen as an accurate form guide, a point illustrated by the fact that last year's Arc champion, Sagamix, ridden by Olivier Peslier , won the Niel beforehand. The other races are the Prix
Foy (2.10) and Prix Vermeille (3.15), both of which are also overa a mile and a half.
