Trapped on an evil planet, a doomed man sends out an SOS to a friend on the other side of the galaxy, begging him to save his young son. The boy's only guidance is a unique communications system. Jaffar races across space, dragging with him a renegade prince, a beautiful princess and two extraterrestrial clowns; but his mission is fraught with danger and will bring him into contact with the Lords of Time.
