Best of Enemies

on BBC Two England

The first of two programmes in which former cabinet minister Kenneth Baker analyses England's relationships with two of its continental neighbours - France and Germany - and how they are portrayed through the nations' cartoons.

Baker travels to France to find out how Anglo-French relations have been illustrated over the last 250 years, and discovers amusing but stereotyped portrayals.
