Bill Ellis is now a painter and writer. At one time he was Sales Manager for an engineering firm, as well as a sportsman and happy family man. Then one night in 1968 a virus struck, leaving him paralysed and speechless, but with his mind unimpaired Jill Cochrane tells of his struggle to build a new life out of frustration and despair.
