CRIME AND PUNISHMENT 40 Minutes

on BBC Two England

Rape. Is there anything to be gained from survivors of rape meeting convicted rapists? By bringing together Jane and Paul, this film attempts to find out. Jane was raped in her house by an intruder nine years ago, yet only today is she able to discuss her horrific ordeal. Paul is serving two life sentences for rape. He has recently moved to Grendon Underwood prison, the only prison in the country with a special psychotherapeutic regime. The film chronicles the therapy he is receiving there and the effect the difficult encounter has on both parties. Director Ben Fox
