The miners at Smoke Tree have elected Buck Webb, a raw youth, as Law Man, but when the shooting starts Buck faints.
Lone Ranger and Tonto give him a pep talk and in a final show-down Buck gets a chance to vindicate himself. The bad men, however, turn the tables and trap him in a disused mine-shaft.....
