Carol Smillie and Gordon Kennedy host this year's Hogmanay celebrations from Edinburgh Castle. Party guests include Capercaillie's lead singer Karen Matheson, folk singer Rod Paterson, fiddler Aly Bain and accordian player Phil Cunningham. Dougie Vipond joins the crowds on the streets of Edinburgh to welcome in the New Year and there's live music from Runrig, Horse McDonald and Cape Breton fiddler Ashley Macisaac in Princes Street Gardens.
