The Tsunami Children

on BBC Two England

It was an offer seen as a godsend. In the aftermath of the Boxing Day tsunami disaster, a wealthy Sri Lankan family set up a charity and offered 100 bereaved youngsters places at its hostel where they would be housed, educated and taught. But it's an offer that has come with a heavy, emotional price. Eight-year-old Fahad and teenagers Rukshana and Nuzrath are among those who set out on a journey that would change them for ever. Narrated by Robert Lindsay.
